Sound animations and workshops for the younger audience
In collaboration with manege.mons and Musique Nouvelles, Transcultures develops the animation program Sonic Kid during the whole month of July 2009. This project proposes a series of rich and varied activities for children as well as parents, activities that teach how to listen and introduces contemporary sound creations to the youngest ones.
Kids Party
Tuesday 7th July 2009, from 2 to 5pm
The association Algorythm (multidisciplinary cultural structure from the north of France axed towards electronic music) proposes a kids party for children around the electronic arts: workshops for musical awekenings (interactive 'multitouch' table), initiation to the plastic arts (paint in reaction to the sound one hears), dj set with multiple styles (dubstep, house, electronica, electro…).

Free guided visits
From 26th June to 26th July 2009
Free guided visits for families will be organised on demand during the festival, from Tuesday through Sunday. The tour can be discover entirely or through a selection of works adapted for the youngest ones.
